Just to let everyone around ND to know, Devils Lake has drag races 3-4 times a year and is drawing quite a Vintage crowd. Contact Curt Olson Pres. Lake Region Snowmobile Club and Vintage Club PO Box 981 Devils Lake ND 58301, my Centurion ran a 5.9 @ 82 in 500 ft so, just cause they are old doesnt mean they aint fast.

Those centurions were nice fast sleds in their day. Gotta love those triples. I didn't know Devils Lake had drags, good to know.

I know that if a sled falls through the ice you can probably just stand up and pull yourself out, Shallow lake. Probably freezes pretty solid actually.

You have to be kidding DEVILS LAKE is far from shallow. In some places by the Casino I have heard that its nearly 70 feet deep... and it NEVER freezes solid I have seen open water under the bridges there in January.

Wrong Devil's Lake, I didn't see that it was in ND. There is one in Wisconsin just north of Baraboo, which is a little north out of Madison. The lake is 7' deep at most and has bluffs all the way around it. Pretty cool place really, that is why I was surprised to hear there were drags there.
