After replacing all my boost ref lines recently i was able to pull 103 and 8300 on hardpack snow on the river yesterday, roughly 1/8 of a mile, last year i maxed out at 7800, boost guage would spike 15 and settle to 13 roughly, i am very pleased now if we could get some deep snow for my 1.5 track that will be interesting, this is bone stock. Should i be happy with these results?? may be interested in some clutching in the future, happy sledding.

Same thing and results as yours. Replacing the hose on the intake man was almost as much fun as the spark plugs.Replaced the fuel filter that the (Dealers put on backwards). Replaced the (Blowoff valve) plastic (Stock one) with a (CNC) alum one, adjustable from(8-18) psi. My track is a 136-1 1/4. Going to the (UP) next w/k for a long S/Bag trip. We dont do circle or short lake run trips. Poor Devil!! rolleyes.gif

Absolutely! Next would be a 155/222 secondary spring. You will love the difference in midrange and backshifting.

Its great when you make changes and they work out! Here is a screenshot from my first ride last weekend...
If you can read the speedo its 106... managed 108 on a very mushy lake, so was very happy with the " trail speed" of 106.

The screen shot is from my GoPro that I just got - and Love....
(Although it looks a little dorky on the helmet)

I just finished checking all the boost lines with Martin's tester and was surprised that even over the summer nothing was leaking. Held 22lbs for a few minutes, then drains down. I already have the clutch upgrades that were recommended to me when I upgraded the ecu.

Now it revs to 8750 and drops to about 8350 on long pulls. Boosts to about 21, and drops to 17.
(It was VERY cold out, and performed perfectly)

No, and that is not the rate you want. Your stock spring is a 130/180 2006-2010 FST's come with a 140/240 so testing would be in store to determine if a better rate is available.

Snobeeleror or anyone, been thinking overnite.....if other fst's run this with huge success ,why would this spring not be optimal with the newer ones? The helix is also closer to what is recommended than the older stock sleds. 62/36 .70
The stock drive spring is 100/340 with 24/44 gears and the recommended on here is almost the same at 120/340 with the same gears. I'm not a clutching guru and don't have an area to play and test before I ride and when I do I'm on a saddlebag trip in Quebec and don't want to be working on my sled so any help/advise I'm sure would be appreciated by us with newer sleds. Thanks
P.S. Went from Berniers to River Du Loup to Lac Etchimin and back this weekend and the trails were all mint and it was cold Sat and Sunday Had to use the throttle to start it Sunday morn at -15 f. 565 miles.

If it were me I would try this spring first Part #7043495 140/200 These 2 clutches are different birds so tuning specs are way different.

If your dropping down in boost you need a meth kit, they work.

If the 21 is just a spike and then goes right to 17 then it is normal. 8350 continous RPM's is a good indication it is making good power.
