im thinking about buying a 2003 polaris 800 sks that has a 144 inch track with 2 inch lugs and i was wondering if there any good way up in the mountains

I had that same sled for 3 years, though with a 1.25" lug track and studs. It was really good in the snow. No problem getting up on top, good tractable power, lots of track speed and nearly unstoppable.
It is a little heavy, and you got to work to make it go where you want in tight quarters, but for straight up playing in the deep stuff it's really good.
