I'm chainging the chaincase oil in the wifes 96 XLT what do you guys run for oil thank's for the help

I can't help you much as I just use chain case oil, no particular brand either.

Do yourself a favor and use the Polaris chaincase lube...If brokedown on the trail or far from a dealer you can use auto trans fluid(Dextron)......DO NOT USE gear lube. Many will tell you to use it,and they have run it for years. It does add some lubrication but try and poor some at -15 deg.f. Polaris chaincase lube is more of the consistancy of tranny fluid.

Amsoil chain case oil! Never had a failure.
