Full Version: Pro-x 440?
Hey how are the pro-x 440s overall. gas mileage? performance, and the jetting at different temps, and how are they for reliability? even if they are bad for the temperature jetting, all i would need to do is spend 275 dollars on dial a jet and i would be good to go!
try a tempaflo, only 155 us and they are automatic jetting. work perfectly.

If you are not going to do strictly racing with the 440, might as well go with a 500 or 600, unless you want to tinker with your 440 constatnly, i have a 04 pro xr 440 that i only use during the warming winter months strictly for ice dragz, i currently own 4 ea. 500 xc sp's / 04 pro xr 440 / 04 pro xr 800 and an 02 indy lite, big polaris fan,
440 does pretty good for a small engine, Did 7.6 on a 660 ft ice drag. btw you would also have to purchase the regulary pump gas heads, or vise versa for the race head!
my 02 500 xc sp is still going strong, (something to think about)
