I have a 05 xc800sp, I ordered a tempaflo and installed 96 golddiggers.I dont really want to dig into the engine as it is relatively new. I need to mess with the clutching now, what is a good setup to get me going on clutching a relatively stock 8? These might be the only things I do over the summer, unless I order some more stuff over the winter.

How much are you willing to spend on the engine?

If I ever did engine mods to it, I would probably just go all out and buy a triple triple motor, get it bored and put it in the chassis, I am sure a 1250 cc triple would always bring a smile to my face everytime I hit the throttle biggrin.gif I think I will start with simple mods, is it good to go with a clutch kit, or is there someone out there with a killer clutch setup?

i think first off i would put a pipe on it...i put a slp single on my 500 and it made a pretty big diffrence even though i didn't get time to do the clutch before the snow went away... and i just found out that i'm only making 92 psi compression(sick)

slp gives recomendations as to what springs and flyweights to use in your clutchs to get good performance....so i would pipe first and clutch second

(this is NOT an slp ad!!!! lol)

just my two cents!!!!!
