i count find 200 jets so i put 195 in but am still to lean the races r tomorow and i cant get any jets anywere

r they any other option to get it richer 195 wont cut it my plugs turn almost all white
PRO X
If you cant get 200 mains for those Pipes DO NOT RUN IT LIKE THAT... it will burn down for sure. Not worth ruining your motor for a race. I actully run 200 pto/205 mags in my 1998 700 motor with 45 pilot jets. They say to run 200's with like 42 pilots, but it was way to lean this set up will be premo for you. Just DONT RUN IT if your plugs are white running it hard like that WFO in a drag race will blow it up for sure.

hempman181
oh yeah am running iol injection for now but soon go change to manual mixing

that shelve in the box did make a diff
PRO X
I knew that It would. It makes a big difference in most PO sleds
hempman181
leans u out a little but boy were did that spitter go lol
PRO X
yep no more heasitation if you put on a boost bottle it helps even more, I sold my RMK, but im lookin to find me a 98 XC 7 to race. Time will tell if I find one.
hempman181
should have kept that rmk am running a xc and am looking for a Rmk chassie long track is the way to go
these 98 dont get the trackion they should even with a track full of studs

EXTENDED it OR you wont like yer results trust me

those cats are hard to go get
PRO X
The RMK was great for traction wise...... BUT It had one single cooler in the middle of the tunnel right under the rear portion of the seat. It overheated all the time. Very annoying it was almost impossible to race that sled and not have it over heat. But I still have the Motor (who would get rid of a good running big block with 220 cylinders), all that I sold was the Chassis, Now I just need to find something to stick that motor in
biggrin.gif I have a PRo X 440 Chassis thats looking better all that time. I also picked up another sled too, Its a 2000 XC sp Hill cross sled. That was raced by RICK WARD in the 2000 X games. Sled had 1700 Miles on it, (has about 2k now hehe) and is nearly flawless. It has 136 RMK suspension, And RMK Handle bars. Also came with twin pipes v force 2 reeds and about 5 sets of weights and jets. In the Market for a 800 XCR if anyone has one they want to sell let me know.

oppfully it wasent a motor problem and not a chassie problem i dont know i would have keep that and and if the prob was the rads well i would have added some under foot ramps but that new one u just got with 136 rmk suspension that be the one to fix up for sure

Traction is the key word

i was in the looking of a storm chassis my self but now it better be extended or it aint mine
PRO X
Nah i dont think it was a motor problem, because when the snow was like 10 in deep or more it would run fine even when the temp was like 35 so it was deffinately the lack of coolers. As far as the storm chassis that would be perfect because it has the most cooling availible it has the under the board coolers and the strip coolers under the tunnnel, XLT's and ULTRAS also have this if I remeber right. I know the XLT does for sure.
