Hi ive been snowmobiling for the past 4 years and have some decent experience working on my sleds. But am wondering what is completely needed to convert a 02 Pro-X 440 l/c to work well on trail. I can pick one up real cheap but am wondering if its worth it.

I know that it can be a real pain in the ass to convert the 440 sno pro cats to trail. Is it the same with the Pro-X?

All I know that I need is

Low compression head
Oil injection
Re gear it (is it neccesary?)

Anything else, Also if you have any links to get these parts the cheapest that would be nice! It already has the 11 gallon tank. Was also told not to worry about oil injection so im unsure about that.

I don't plan to only trail ride it. I have a Steel f-Head ramp around my house that my cousin hits alot on his F6. My plan is to start hitting them on this Pro-X.

Have a good summer, while waiting for some good fluff.

You will also need to reclutch and jet as well. I would keep the gearing close to the same you can gear higher a little if you want. If you get it I can give you a full set up just pm me.
