Hey I ride in Houghton Lake, MI. We get about 3"-5" of base every year with maybe 2-3" of powder on top. What size track would you reccomend? I want a 136" , so what lug size should I get, I was thinking 1". I have been told .8" would be better and that 1.25" would be better. I enjoy riding in powder but there isnt much up there so it would mostly be on trail riding.

Thanks

Do you mean 3-5 FEET of base or 3-5 Inches? If its only inches just leave the stock track, because you're probably digging to the dirt anyway. If its Feet, then get a 1.25 x 136.

I'm guessing you don't even have the sled yet as the stock track is a 14 X 121 X 1.375. So when looking into a track for 136 i wouldn't go less and 1.25!!

No you are right I do not have the sled, but yes I do know the track is 1.375, that is why I am getting another one...

Yep the 1.25s seem to be the tracks to have

I own the same sled the stock track bites like a rabid dog. I ride hard pack trails and some powder. never had any problems. If you want to go longer to a 136" get the 1.25. I put one on a XCR 800 and it worked out great.

I ride in that same area, I would say the 1" would do you just fine!
