Probably want a bigger tank if it still has the race tank on it! Not too many other mods are needed on the race sleds and they are wound tight right from the factory!

I just put a new windsheild, and black headlight cover on my 02 pro x..

you could add a MBRP Race can. but if ur gunna ride on trails that can is way to loud then.

loud sleds are not a big deal here, you should hear my 700 RMK with PSI modblasters on it....

By the way here is my 02 PRO X

alls i can say is that AAEN makes pipes and cans for the 440s... you could make it look cool by using aluminum polish on the tunnal or stipping pain on the trailing arms and doing the same...
Mr. ProX
if you leaving it a 440 and gonna trail ride it, all you need to do is get the large tank conversion kit, trail heads (92 octane instead of 110). if you wanted to hop it up over and above that i would say clutch it better, stock was close but not spot on. you can add v force reeds out of a '03 pro x 440 as they didnt come with them in the '02s. get the shocks revalved so there alittle softer than "lumber wagon". as for a pipe or can i wouldnt recommend it, the 440's without internal engine mods run best with the stock stuff. and there isnt much weight to be lost with the few aftermarkets ones that are out there. thats one of the reasons why there isnt may companies making aftermarket exhaust for 440's. there was a post on another forum with dyno runs showing stock 440 exhaust compared to 2 aftermarket companies exhaust on a '03 pro x 440. the aftermarket one make it louder and slower(without internal mods that is) i think rugland pipes are the only ones that make more power in a 440, but there like 1000+.
