we were out testing runs with my sled the yesterday trying to get those darn shitty carbs tuned to perfect well wasent easy considering we were tuning in +3 Temp anyways we got rid of the bog and got it running almost perfect then we tried this 98 Rmk coil pack stock and put it on well just by doing that i could feel a good difference crisper trottle response and way better mid range anyways u find this little trick prety handy

1998 440XCR coil/cdi combos work well on the 1998 xc700 as well. I was told on other sites not to run them unless you engine is modded. I mixed mine up by mistake. The 700 ran awesome and the 440 ran like crap.

can you share the p/n on the rmk one.

why is it they would put a lesser performence coil in the XC700?

also how much would a RMK coil run me? is it worth the money? i cant remember but i think it was you that has vforce reeds in your sled, did it add as much as those???

difference in power is usaly hard to tell when all u do is try new things to get it going better i found that with out the cheater heads instaled the coil was making a bigger difference but now withthe heads is very hard to tell but 1 thing is it dint maake it any worst it did help clear out the bottom end and ac my delta vforce well i add a issue with 1 of my old reed cage so yes of course i found a difference but for what they cost hummm its a lote of money
