i hear those clear cawling are lighter, or you can even go cawling and nose coneless.
i always wanted to cut down on the tub and cawling then fab. somthing AL to go over the clutchs.
mabey get a light weight seat like boss.

remember if you lighten the rear you also need to lighten the front.

See if Fox makes the float air shocks for your sled.
They have no springs... MUCH lighter.

In reading some other topic's i see you have over 300 studs on your sled, if you using this sled for anything other than ice racing then lose say 156 of those studs, that will lighten it up big time!

Hood/seat will be the easiest places to lose weight.
Mountain fit hoods are light/cheap.
BOSS seats are pricey but worth it.

if you make the rear of the sled light and not the front then the front will dip in the air and the same if you lighten the front and not the rear ( a little brake/throttle control could probley make up for the most part but its better to keep things even out imo)
