Installed elec fuel gauge on 00 SuperSport...has 1/4 tank of fuel. Noticed when riding from garage to trailer, gauge flucuated between 1/2 and empty (back and forth). Once sled was still, returned to 1/4 tank reading. Is this normal? Something wrong with sending unit? Father had a 98 Classic and recall fuel gauge reading to be steady. Install went good, gauge was new out of box. ???????
