easy killer...

What are you running for a track? Are the vibes completely gone at all other speeds, or are they still there, just not as prominent as they are at 40 MPH?
redx800
just runnin a 1" track. only there at 40mph completely gone at any higher speed or lower speed. having a bad week so that is what accounts for the previous posts.

Have you checked your tunnel for ice build up????
How about your chain case oil... Have you checked it..
Belt Deflection.. Check that...
Chain tension in your gear case..
Track tension...
Clutch Alignment..

All could be causes of this.. Sorry for all the things to check im just super maticulous and I paranoidly check everything when I have a problem.. blink.gif

put sled in heated garage to melt ice took for spin did same thing
check chain case oil-fine
checked track tension-fine
checked chain tension -fine
checked belt-brand new
so not sure might be a bearing in the chain case or in the drive.

Things to check...

Crank run-out
Jackshaft (is your secondary wobbling? Try running it on a stand)
Driveshaft (possible it's bent)
Rear Axle
Brake Rotor

got it figured out.a bushing in the clutch was coming out of the ramp and was making the vibes.all fixed now put a new ramp in.runs better than it did when i first bought it.
