Just noticed that this sensor is unplugged on my sled. No idea how long it's been like this, but it doesn't seem to effect anything (while it's running in my garge anyway). Can anyone tell me what this sensor is supposed to do? Thanks.

My fault. I think this is the throttle position sensor. Just don't know what it's purpose is on a carb machine.

On your sled, the TPS helps the ignition system deliver the correct spark advance, based on RPM and throttle position.
