How do Pro-x's do in powder? Any problems with too much snow getting to the clutch or anything? Thanks.

I've never had one before, but I've heard they're fairly decent for a short tracked sled.

No problems to report with mine. I've had it stuck so bad you could only see half of the hood...

No problems for me either and now this year I put a 136 on it, so it should reallly go good now!!!!!

Serpent
The 121" track is going to seriously limit the sled's off-trail abilities.

Hey Serpent, how do you like that Edge X 600? I want one just like yours!!! There was one at a local shop sold for $3,000 is it worth that for one? Does it have the Fox Shox??? How does it ride in the ruff stuff? I need something to take the hard stuff how do they do??? Just curious...
prox800
I have 1.25 track on mine and I have no problems. I can put it anywhere a 136 1.25 machine will go. No complaints here.

My Pro-X 800 121" does really well in the powder for a short track. I can ride through 4 feet of powder all day without any issues. Obviously you have to keep your momentum, but it's not like other short tracks that have that constant "sinking" feeling while in powder. I'm impressed with the powder capabilities of this sled for a 121".

My 01 600 has a 1.25 ripsaw on it, and once i get the momentum going a little i just tape it to the handlebar and it climbs right up on top of the powder and it carves in the deep stuff pretty well also.[attachmentid=494][attachmentid=495]

my moms boyfriend had a 04 pro x 2 700 with a 136" that dose awsome in the powder.

ha i'll second that, i put the 1.25 comoplast shochwave on my 700 [because the old 1 took a ##it from 192 picks] it hooked up so well [even on the packed trail] that i never pick it. when i bought my pro-x i had the dealer swap the 1 inch track out for the 1.25 as part of the deal and it hooks up well even on the 800 very impressed tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif did i tell you it also improved water crossing abilities [Sweet] Rippin an tearin Kickin an leanin
