Did polaris make a 2002 prox 440 liquid cooled model? I see them one ebay all the time but me and "Crdude" are have a conflicting arguement about weather or not its true or not. http://www.polarisfiles.com/forum/index.ph...obile&year=2002
that says there was only a fan cooled one. Are the ones on ebay converted from fan to liquid? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Your right only fans were sold to the public. Nope, they were race program only that year... you would have to have been in that to get one, or boughten one from someone else. I have one that I bought from a guy that raced it in WSA snowcross, I wont say who because he asked me not to.

There were, however, ProX 600s available to the public in '02.

hahaha

2002 pro x 440 liquids were availibel to the public

they guy i bought mine form got hsi at a dealer mid season he told me that every polaris dealer was givin 2
liquid 440's on top of what ever racer sleds they received that year these sleds were either sold race ready or with trail kits installed alot of dealers got stuck with those 2 liquids and ultimatley ended any type of public sale of race sleds for polaris.. as in 2003 pro x 440's were strictly for racers and required a race application

and i forgot they also stopped selling them in 2003 to the public for another reason

limited number of build would help keep the resale up for racers in stead of the market being flooded with near mint trail riddin sleds

thsi year polaris built some where around 475 racers and 150 roller chassis for mods
