i just bougt a 2001 xcf 440 after running a 2000 xc600sp for 3 years 7400 mile i really like how light the 440 is and i was wondering what i could add or change on it to give it a little more pop

I too just bought an 01xcf 440, Mine was raced and If want some snap, get studs and clutch it! I have to clutch mine down, its engages at like 5100 or 5200, way to high for my wife and trail riding! So i would say clutch it! its takes off like a rocket up to say 50! What does yours egage at?

i would think that the xcf 440 would be alot quicker up to like 70/80 mph then the 700 it is close to my 800 and beat the heck out of my 600 im going to miss it just ran bad on warm day very sensitive to temp changes

ill put a 440 liquid up agaisnt anythign in the trails... light weight and over 100 ponies not to mention PADDLE TRACKS!!!!!

bigger sleds arnt always the answer.. gotta be able to ride

an xcf wont keep up with a 700.. a 440 L/C sled might tell the speeds you mensioned...

stud your xcf then clutch it
