hookers are things at the end of your handlebars to prevent your hands from slipping off the handle bars. They came stock along with the mountain bar on the '06 Switchback 600 H.O. I think that was one of the best things they could have done on that sled.
Tip:
Put the throttle to the bar

it has about 4100- 4200 miles. no real climbing miles though, mostly trail, as the terrian i ride in doesn't have to many big mountains--- nor do any of my friends i ride with have the right machine to voyage up.

i really like the colour of those '04 switchbacks. If they made that colour in the '06 I would have gotten that over the blue, but the blue is a pretty sweet colour as well. Nice sled and it looks well maintained!

pin it and lean to steer. dont be pussy about it its all balls to the walls when your highmarking and make sure to turn out before you get stuck.

I'm supposidly heading out to the mountains with a few people this winter. I'm hoping to improve my carving and learn quite a bit more about mountain riding. I'm also curious to see what the switchback will be like in the mountains. Only an 1 1/4" track so i dunno. . .

If you are starting to slow and sink, just start wiggling the machine by leaning left and right while turning the handlebars, it will keep you atop long enough to turn and gain speed and head back up!
