Under acceleration im getting a red light on my cluster. Lower left side. Im a real dumbass because I didnt take note to which light it was. Ive only got this light twice, and only will I give her a quick shot when crossing a pond. Any ideas ???

I know that on my FST, the big problems are when the yellow light in the lower left hand corner of the MFD lights up (check engine aka efi/turbo fubar). Isn't the light for the parking brake in that location (red, lower left)? Check to see which light it actually is, and report back...

I've got buddies who have had RMK 900s, and the only real problems that they had occured when the little yellow light came on as well.

I am about 100% sure that the light u are refering to is a check engine light. I have a 2006 900 rmk and it has happend a few times to me it seems to happen when you are riding real hard for a longer period of time it comes on, and then as soon as you pull over and let it idol for about 10 seconds it shuts off. I have no clue what it is from and I wish I did but the local dealer has no idea of what it could be so if anyone has an anwer that would be great. also if anyone knows what the service light is all about when you start it that would be great also. thanks

I suppose I should have updated this awhile ago, but the little red light is the low oil level light. Probably some sloshing under acceleration or a loose wire that was triggering that.

Hobbystock#99, has your dealer plugged your RMK into digital wrench to check for codes? The check engine light is orange (the oil light is red). I know that when I first start my sled, the check engine light is always on initially. I am assuming that this is while the ECU is making sure that all sensors are reading correctly. Of course, I also have a FST, so when I first start it I have little to no oil pressure for a second. The same reason my truck CE light is on right when I start it.

One of my riding partners sold his 900 RMK last fall, and I can't remember if that sled did the same thing or not.
