Can anyone tell me if they are having problems with the supposedly waterproof front box on the 05-06 Sportsman. Mine seems to pop the radiator access cover everytime i run thru mud or foot deep water, guess the steam from the radiator getting wet pops it who knows, but that was one of the selling points on it last year. Ha, a dry gear box huh.. I see that they changed it a lil for 07 guess they thought it was a problem too. Problem is i dont wanta spend the money on a new front box. Any help? I thought of putting silicone around the access cover but then i cant get to the radiator cap. Just tired of a box full of water and mud. Thanks to all

Is the water splashing up from underneath the box then getting inside? cause i have yet to see a drop of water inside of it

mine was the same way .. always full of water ...till i smashed it rite off one day .....when i went in to order a new one they said there is a new style out , so i bought it ... the new one does not leak at all,there is a way tighter fit around the access hole!!!!!!!!! hope this helps!!!!
