QUOTE(John Turbo 2 Dean @ Jan 11 2010, 05:39 PM) Looking for some weight numbers also. Time to get that scale out! About 16-17lbs. This is a close estimate. I'll have to get the digital fishing scale out. Pricing will be determined tomorrow.

exhaust looks badass, always loved the magnaflow on my turbo civics. Any chance of an open dump version? Maybe dump it out of the bell pan with a hole drilled? Nothing like the sound of an open dump when the wastegate opens, not to mention the performance gains (lower egt's, more power)

QUOTE(Lancerfst @ Jan 12 2010, 06:50 PM) I thought about making a dump for sure. Don't know how useful it is apart from 10-12lbs loss and maybe 2-4HP for a race event where there is no noise limit it could be a good idea. This exhaust already flows so well already I don't think the gains would be significant. Although I am curious and might bring a "test pipe" to the dyno. Absoulutely BE-U-TI-FUL!! Would you consider build pipes for a church organ? lol Nice work, looking forward to dyno numbers

QUOTE(Lancerfst @ Jan 6 2010, 05:51 PM) We are replicating the trail turbo kit that I've been running since last year for a customer. The performance improvements from the kit is remarkable and we're going to test and prove the numbers next week. We are improving many things especially cosmetically and also improving the flow in a few places and making the exhaust even quieter. Here's the exhaust Manifold made out of really thick Schedule 10 Stainless. The rest is coming quickly, check the thread for updates. So is this new manifold for the stock fst turbo,or just for a mod turbo you guys have?

Pricing will be determined tomorrow. Actually weight seems to be 14-15lbs max I had it in my hand today, pretty light ! Got to get the weight on. It's such a breeze to install too with this turbo. The whole SS manifold and T25 turbo and exhaust can be installed in 15 minutes, not counting the removal of the stock manifold and turbocharger.

QUOTE(sask prairie @ Jan 14 2010, 10:05 PM) Do you have capabilities to put the ELA exhaust as many of us have purchased it. If it is stainless we could work something out. You could send the ELA exhaust and we will change the orientation of the pipe possibly one cut two welds and a little extension. You would get a reduced price on the kit ! Or you could have a welder make the small changes to the ELA exhaust on your end. If it's Titanium it can be done too but you won't get a reduced pricing on the kit given the changes will be more expensive.

QUOTE(Lancerfst @ Jan 15 2010, 06:00 PM) Made a bolt on stainless downpipe for racing purpose. Weighs something like 2lbs. Compared to the big Magnaflow. Size means more packing, quieter than a smaller muffler. If i was to be in the market for a muffler and pipe for my stock fst turbo in place of stock exhaust, will you be selling this pipe combo?

It is available right away for stock FSTs. I don't think there is quieter, higher flow and more durable exhaust out there ! Althought it loses a little in the weight department

This particular kit, my customer chose a used turbocharger to save on the cost. But we got a really nice one with low miles. I inspected it, took off the housings, cleaned it and port matched the turbine section. Here it is half way done, notice the lip. Note the 2 air filter in one choice, more airflow available for the turbo charger. Turbo Dynamics Kit in Racing mode with exhaust dump 5 minute Exhaust swap from Racing to Trail.

Went for a ride with my Customer's turbo kit. Testing the turbocharger and the performance and lastly clutching it with Supertips adjustable clutch weights Btw customer gave me full permission for this Wow ! I am suprrised at the power gain compared to the my prototype turbo kit but I expected a little less. Current temp is -1c sunny, the snow is sticky and slushy. http://www.meteomedia.com/weather/caqc0177Went out with my 11-66 weights and blue primary spring (which makes my weight feel heavier) Power is slightly increased and the temp is much hotter than last time I tested 0C VS -15C Hitting the rev limiter constantly and ratcheting is worse than ever at only 17 psi (stock boost level, OB) I installed the Supertips and now am working on adjusting my suspension to try and reduce ratcheting with the new power. Note my drivers are in poor shape, new driveshaft coming Friday. I'll give updates and results with the Supertip clutch weights which are getting excellent reviews. Here is the sled after a few trips in the field: Video of the sound on ice surface

Why the special flange and not just springs?
Have you every done the dyno test of this upgrade? I'm not sure if I understand how you can add a bigger turbo and leave the fuel settings alone even if using stock boost.
