Just a heads up that I'm working on a new design which will be incorporated into different forum software which will offer better features and an improved user experience. If the site is up or down over the course of the remainder of the summer this may be what's going on. I hope to have it done by summers end but we'll see how things go.

I believe you are considering a code base similar to that used by snowmobileFanatics.com

I do very much appreciate the moderator options that the current software here has, and I hope that the new software will have all of those features as well.

Merging, moving, Deleting duplicates, title editing, are all very important.

The downtime yesterday was unexpected. It was not part of my plan. I have the new design for the site about done and am in the process of creating the new database and writing the scripts to properly transfer the data from this database to the new one. I'm expecting that this will all take place in the beginning to middle of November. There should be little downtime when this does happen.
