where is the idle adjustment located on a 99 xlt sp
Go to the Polaris/Victory Online Parts Catalog
and bring up the SNO 1999 XLT SP
and then open the first CARBURETOR diagram.
Key 10, next to the PTO carburetor is the idle stop/idle speed adjuster screw for the rack. After adjusting it, make sure you also adjust the tension on the throttle cable so that there is a little slack up at the thumb throttle on the handlebar.
now open the second CARBURETOR diagram.
Key 26 is the ADJUSTER screw for the Fuel Mixture.
The idle mixture adjustment is done thru a Fuel Screw on each carburetor. Keep them synchronized.
