FST 06-09 Stage 1 reflash V1.1 Released 5 January 2009

As predicted, after 1 year of testing, we can release the reflash for everyone ...

Many have talked about that in Quebec and because some threads are talking about the reflash of FST,
I decided to put more efforts to be ready for the start of the new year.

The first reflash version Stage 1 FST Motronic M7.4.4 is available with 18.5 PSI of boost!!!

The specs :

For all models FST 2006 - 2009

18.5 PSI stable : 33.2 PSIA absolute

Optimised timing map for 93 octane gas, 1 degree timing less if 91 octane used

Max rev limit increased by 200 RPM

Power band from 5000 RPM to 8500 RPM ... orginal was topped at 8000 RPM

Startup fueling optimised to prevent sparkplug fooling ( 12.1 AFR original... now at 12.8 AFR )

No faults code

Overboost protection at 19 PSI ( fault code P0234) ( for those who wants to try manual boost controller, we don't want you to burn this perfect engine!!!

Better fuel economy in cruising mode ( less than 5 psi boost )

Entirely reversible reflash

For more infos PM me

I'm also presently testing Stage 2 and 3 for race applications

Who are you? 3 posts out of the blue and you want us to trust you to reflash our sleds and not blow them up?

Dear every one,

Before I started Boost Engineering I was powertrain enginner for Bomabardier Snow groomers vehicles as know as te BR's. In 2002 I started Boost Engineering after the demand from many customers for my tuning softwares and turbo setups and as now, this is my 10th year in the chiptuning with bosch based computers. My work is done on VW, Porsche, audi, mercedez, bmw, all pulling tractors and Big rig trucks.

1 year and half ago, my local polaris dealer approach me with the FST polaris and we started to tune it. Since that, i tested may programs to optimize the reflash and make many tests to confirm boost, power, AFR etc... Until today without those tests i was non comfortable to release the reflash. But at that point i'm sure of one thing, every one with my reflash will enjoy it.

If you want more infos on what i done, i'm getting you some links about my projects... 10 sec 1/4 mile VW, 3000hp big rig truck at 13.88 on 1/4 mile.

I know i'm new on this forum but as you, performance addict, I will go up to the maximum potential of this weber engine!!

As if no one replied to this thread. Forget it Louis-Olivier, I think Polaris File members are only loyal to one god.
Yayou. He built a reputation here and it's something that takes a long time to achieve. Even if you have tuned so many more Bosch EFI equipped cars than any of us on this site, you have very little credibitity. It's the hard fact of being new on a Forum. Your post count is more important than your knowledge.

And no one can contest what Yayou says, it is frowned upon. He cannot be wrong and he doesn't argue. He will just ignore what he doesn't want to answer. I was a big fan of you and now with the reply that has been deleted in the thread, I'm am not impressed. Maybe it's you that needs to grow up.

We should encourage guys like Yayou, Olivier and PSD for their efforts to make the FST a faster, more reliable sled.
I think Louis should be respected a little more than this. Right now all you guys is ignore what he has done. Don't put all your eggs in one basket...

Anyways, that's what I had to say for tonight. Which might get deleted pretty quickly. Wouldn't want to upset 45-60 year olds vascular systems.

Thanks Lancer,

Forum is forum and everybody can make their own choice, no reply on the tread not seem nobody are interested... because from 2 weeks I reflashed 15 FST and those people gave me very good comments and they are happy with this performance reflash. Today I received 6 more...

What I saw in the past... when people are interested, they take the phone and make a call...

As I told you my offer still there for improved performance testing on your sled

Have a great day,

Louis-Olivier

Wow, never thought anyone would sell that many reflash, let alone the way no one replied to your thread.
Are those sales mostly from motoneigeauquebec.com site or here ?
Anyways congrats on making those sales.

As for my own FST, it is struggling to stay in one piece stock I need to inject another 1000$ in a better track with studs. I could not use more power right now, not enough traction.ck extremely tight.
I have to build a stronger airbox too. For now project FST is taking a backseat.
