Well it was not perfect ice by any means,it had snow on it when we got all the heavy rain,so it was quite rutted up in alot of places, and zero lube, except for an 1" or so along shore. now the clutching is supertorquers Dragon flt set up,75 grm base, with 3.2 tip 3.2 O.D. and 4.2 in shoulder with black primary, that came in kit 140/360 lbs. Tried to keep the rpms even during accellaration starts, but it would break lose and spike both max speed and rpms, first run was 106 gps rpms 8300 and than levels off to 8050-8150 but as the slides got hot and started to stick, you could see the rpms bounch around a little, next run my little driver payed a little more attention to rpms and max speed, but still saw 119 recall speedo and 107 gps,3rd run saw 120 recall and 108 gps rpms same as before, water temo around 160-176 degrees all runs were about 1800-2000 ft,but it tops out in about 1500 feet, with 40/24 gears, stock secondary, and shifts completely out,to w/in 1/8 off the top. Now i took it home tore into it,changed things around, took tip weight out,and removed some off the O.D. hole, and stayed with the black spring, rpms were closer to 8300-8400 on short runs on very hard packed snow/grass runs were about 500 feet. Now back to my garage, changed primary around again, plus secondary, this time i ran gold spring that also came with kit,it has much higher engagement and less total force,170/340 and i removed the stock red secondary spring and installed yayous spring black/red,much longer than stock red,and again ran the field, engagement around 3800 and shifts to 8700 than back down to 8500,but cant tell yet what it will do on along run,i also had two gallons of Vp 105 fuel mixed in,just for those long hauls on the bare ice lake. So now i have a starting place to begin with.

What's up with the huge difference in Recall speed and GPS speed ? Are you studded ?
Normally it is within 1%

Yup 96 megabites down the middle, like i said the lake was rough in places,i have gps'ed on snow and it is a little closer, only off by 3-5 mph,as long as you dont boil the track and have it spike the max recalls.
