well guys i have a 94 rxl, just bought it, took it out for the first time a couple days ago, as we just got snow, i was out in the middle of nowhere and my rxl just died, it was towed home, which was the longest ride of my life lol, we looked at it when we got home and the computer is trowing a code, 22, which is the center injecter, anyone know how to clean them, this is my first fuel injected model.

I bought a new 96 Rxl and had a 92 previous to that, loved both of them. Never had a problem except for breaking a piston skirt on the 92, it was far from stock, I tried a set of 10m blue's and turn 10 grand for a bit before cracking the skirt, plenty fast but rode like a hay wagon compared to the 96.

I also run the Champion plugs, much better luck with those. Only problems I have encountered in three years with my 94 is coolant loss (re-torqued heads, and its in remission), battery every year. This is the first year having real trouble with mine, I am getting air in the fuel rail. Think its my intake line allowing air through to the pump (from inside the tank). When it dies, the fuel rail is pressurized, but with air!

Hey Kubie, there are some things you can try. The throttle bodies may need to be synced. Also the throttle position sensor may need to be recalibrated. But, first I'd check for codes.

I have got a 94 Rxl 650, and i think that there is something wrong with my throttle position sensor, don't really know that much about mechanical, but i was wondering what you meant by recalibrating the throttle position sensor? my rxl seems to take a while off start to get her power, don't know why. you press the throttle to the bar and it takes a couple seconds for the skidoo to pick up the power. once i gets going, she seems to work fine. anyone with some suggestions on what could be checked it would be appreciated.

The best thing I ever did was buy a Cylmer manual. First thing to do is check the codes on the computer using the flashing red light on the side of it. The only right way to adjust/recalibrate the Throttle position sensor is to use a Polaris select monitor. BTW, this is my second RXL EFI, and when the belt stretches it has a flat spot in the throttle on take-off. I'd replace the belt and see how she runs first before getting involved in anything major.

I have a 1995 Polaris RXL. Just bought it right before the season started from the orignal owner. Its an awesome sled and is really fast. It has a newer Triple 38mm carb kit on it, the old owner ordered the complete kit for an older Indy 650 and put it on and its awesome. Never fouls plugs, and the throttle response is awesome. I guess the EFI's on the 1995's aren't to good. I will post pics a little later today.

I just bought a 1992 Polaris RXL 650. I was wondering if any of you might have a windshield for it? I would like to find one that fades from red to dark blue(pictured) or one that fades from dark blue to the smoked clear. I would also like to find any decals for it, especially tunnel and trailing arm decals. Thanks
